When occurrence records have been loaded on the map, the heat map display can be activated to display the occurrence data as a heat map instead of points.
To activate or deactivate the heat map display, check or uncheck Display Heat Map in the Settings Panel.
Adjusting the Heat Map Radius and Heat Map Blur settings, also in the Settings Panel, will further adjust how occurrence points are rendered in the heat map display.
